HAZLITT 1852 VINEYARDS RELEASES LIMITED EDITION RED CAT RACING LABEL WITH WATKINS GLEN INTERNATIONAL

Commemorative Bottle Honors Second Year Partnership Between Popular Winery & Race Track

Hector, NY (May 19, 2008) — Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards and Watkins Glen International (“WGI”) have joined forces for the second year with The Home of the Red Cat being named the sponsor of the Red Cat Summer Stage throughout the 2008 racing season. As part of this continued partnership, Hazlitt has the exclusive rights to produce a limited edition Watkins Glen International – Red Cat Racing Series label.

“Racing fans represent one of the fastest growing groups for wine consumption and the sport fits the Red Cat lifestyle,” comments Doug Hazlitt, Vice-president of the winery. “Working with WGI provides opportunity to reach new consumers coming to the Finger Lakes wine region – not to mention being fun!”

“This is a great extension of our relationship with this celebrated local winery,” said Craig Rust, president of Watkins Glen International. “Hazlitt’s limited edition label is a wonderful example of the mutually beneficial promotional programs that are fun to develop with our track partners.”

The special edition label entitled “Special Collector’s Edition – Series 1” has a limited production run of 1,400 cases. Bottles have an estimated retail price of $7.99 and will be available for purchase throughout upstate New York wine and spirit outlets and at the winery at Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards. As the partnership with WGI continues, subsequent labels will be released each season adding to their collectability.
